In the world's tiniest automobile a vintage car enthusiast is travelling from John O'Groats to Land's End.
Alex Orchin, from Wivelsfield in East Sussex anticipates the 870-mile (1,400-kilometer) journey to take two to three weeks in a Peel P50.
P50s were initially produced in the 1960s on the Isle of Man and have a peak speed of 35 mph.
The vehicle measures 137cm (54in) in length 104cm (41in) in width, and 120cm (47in) in height.
On Saturday, Mr. Orchin started out from John O'Groats Caithness.
He's accepted the challenge of raising funds for BBC Children in Need. The drive is said to be the first in a P50.
Mr Orchin, who has been playing the bagpipes since he was 11 years old will be performing on his stops along the journey south.
